How to Use TheoryPass

TheoryPass helps non-native English speakers pass the UK car driving theory test by letting you study every question in English and in your own language, side by side. Follow these steps to get started.

   Choose your language

   On the home page, pick your native language from the selector. Every question, answer and explanation — and the whole interface — will then appear in that language alongside the English original.

   Start as guest or sign up

   Tap “Continue as Guest” to begin immediately with progress saved in your browser, or create a free account with email or Google to save your history permanently across devices.

   Add your test date (optional)

   Enter your booked DVSA theory test date in your profile to see a live countdown and reminders focused on your weakest topics.

   Pick a practice mode

   Choose a full 50-question mock test that mirrors the real exam, focused practice on one of the 14 categories, or review the questions you flagged or answered incorrectly.

   Answer with side-by-side translation

   Read each question in English on the left and in your language on the right. Answer from either column, listen to the English with the read-aloud button, and flag any question to revisit later.

   Learn from every answer

   A correct answer is highlighted in green; a wrong one shows the correct option and a plain-language explanation in your own language so you understand why.

   Review your results

   At the end of each session see your score against the 43/50 pass mark, a category-by-category breakdown, and an auto-generated list of the topics to strengthen next.

   Track progress over time

   Your dashboard shows your score trend, mastery of each category and your flagged-question bank, so you can keep practising the right topics until you are ready to pass.
